Audio Cables and Adapters |
| Here is the section of the site where you can find the replacement and improvement equipment for your headphones. Replacement Cables: Many of the headphones listed on our site allow for cable replacement to lengthen the life. This means that you can trip over the cable as much as you want, swing like Tarzan when no one is watching, play jump rope with them, etc. and possibly still have a functional pair (please not that we are not encouraging this, and that our reviewers have noted both Tarzan swinging and headphone jump rope as overrated pastimes). Audio Cables: If the intense power and crisp, clear sound behind $1000 headphones isn’t enough for you, adding an audio cable capable of boosting that caliber of power will enhance the already golden sound. You’ll feel like you’re hearing for the first time in your life. Note: Generally speaking, the audio boosting equipment works best with the more expensive items, because they’re made to handle it. Lower priced earphones generally will not benefit as much from this equipment. Adapters: It has happened to us all: you’re reclined in your chair on the plane, cramped and uncomfortable. All you want to do is sleep away the flight where you’re wedged between the crying, screaming, poopy one year old and the sniffling, sneezing, snorting, snot-nosed person with SARS next to you. Did we mention the five year old playing kickball with the back of your chair to his clueless mother’s delight? All you want to do is listen to your noise cancelling headphones when – gasp – you realize you don’t have an airplane adapter. This scenario applies to a multitude of settings. The point is, you need an adapter to help you pull through. Get it here. You’ll still be riddled with bruises, smell like baby poo and walk around with SARS for a couple weeks, but at least you didn’t have to be awake for the experience. |
