PX100 Headphone by Sennheiser

It’s no secret that the music coming from your portable player sounds like it’s being transmitted through two cups attached with a string (although I’ve always wanted to try that…maybe we’ll review that method here at Headphone Solutions and get back to you). Believe it or not, that’s not your music player; it’s the headphones or ear buds that come with it. Those dinky little things are simply not made to boost music and clearly relay it to your waiting eardrums.

The Sennheiser PX100 Headphones are, though. Despite what you may think, you do not have to sacrifice crystal clear, full bodied sound for portability. The Sennheiser PX100 phones are small and lightweight (far more stylish than bulkier cans, so you won’t have to worry about messing up the ‘do), but they pack the punch. Flat stereo headphones connected by an unobtrusive, lightly padded band sit comfortably on your head and powerfully boost rich sound and punchy bass. Wear them on the bus or subway, at the gym, on a plane, in class (tisk tisk), at work – wherever. When you’re finished, fold them up and slip them into your pocket or the sturdy plastic carrying case. I’d recommend your pocket though, the case is pretty awkward (and a little on the nerdy side).

Our favorite part about the Sennheiser PX100 phones? They’re cheap. For sound quality like this from full sized headphones you’d pay at least twice the price, and probably more. Granted, the closed ear headphones block out the background noise much better, but it really depends on your preferences. The PX100’s look kind of cool too – very sleek and high tech.
